Board of Directors
From Project GO

Kurt Hoge
Board President
Kurt is one of the founding members of Project Great Outdoors. He continues to infuse Project GO with his passion and dedication.
Chris Carlson
Director
Chris has been a high school science teacher for almost 12 years and loves her job. She got involved with Project GO a few years ago when she was invited to be a camp trainer for River Guide Training. After spending two years as board president, Chris continues to sit on the board and volunteer her time with this organization because its mission speaks to things that she feels are important. She loves the people who are involved and seeing the faces of Project GO’s clients after a fabulous river day, when they accomplished what they really thought they couldn't.
Bill Luikart
Treasurer
Bill is an avid outdoor person who likes mountaineering and rock climbing best, but also cycling, rafting and generally doing anything outside...even bird watching and identifying trees. He works as the Operations Manager for California Rural Water Association, lives in Verdi, is married with 2 dogs, 2 cats (can you guess his wife is a veterinarian?) and has a 20 year old son.
Rob Nemeth
Director
Rob is an IT Professional and has been sitting on the Project GO Board of Directors, serving as treasurer for the last four years. Rob has stepped down from the treasurer’s position in 2005 but will continue to offer his guidance to the organization. He is looking forward to his 4th summer guiding for PGO and spending time on the river with friends he's make along the way.
Brad Diller
Director
This is Brad's second year on the Board of Directors for Project GO. Brad is Vice President of Access Pass & Design and plays really awful guitar riffs in his spare time.
Antoinette McLean
Director
Antoinette is excited to be serving on the board and hopes to bring the "youth's perspective and feedback" to Project Go's curriculum as well as increase volunteer participation and fund raising efforts in the bay area. Antoinette has over eight years of experience in social work including developing adventure based therapy programs. She recently left the social work realm for a development job and when she is not working she enjoys playing soccer, live music, and exploring our big lovely planet.
Sean Sundermann
Secretary
Sean joined Project GO as a whitewater guide in 2005 and has served on the board since 2007. After several years of professional guiding, he is eager to share the outdoor experience with inner-city youth. When not playing with PGO, Sean is a geologist living in Colorado.
