Directions to Henningsen Lotus Park

From Project GO

Travel time from the Bay Area is approximately 3 hours. Travel time from Sacramento is approximately 1 hour. Please allot ample time to allow for traffic conditions.

  1. From the Bay Area, take Interstate 80 East to Sacramento.
  2. From Sacramento, take Highway 50 East. Continue about 30 miles.
  3. Exit at the Shingle Springs/Ponderosa Exit (one exit past “3 Brothers Restaurant”).
  4. At the signal, turn left to go over the freeway.
  5. At the second signal, turn right on to North Shingle Road.
  6. Continue 4 ½ miles to a fork in the road. Go Left toward Lotus.
  7. Continue 5 ¾ miles to the first stop sign. Continue straight about a quarter mile.
  8. Turn left into Henningsen-Lotus Park.

At the entrance booth, please tell the attendant that you’re with Project GO, and that we will arrange to pay for parking and put-in.
