He has been a raft guide for 13 years, has worked as ski instructor and as a ropes course facilitator. In 2009 and 2010 he was the convenor for the Association for Experiential Education’s West Regional Conference. When he is not at work or in a boat, you can find him exploring the sierras with Oberon, a pink-nosed dog who is very secure in his masculinity, thank you very much.

Antoinette McLean is excited serve on the board and hopes to bring the “youth’s perspective and feedback” to Project Go’s curriculum as well as increase volunteer participation and fund raising efforts in the bay area. Antoinette has over eight years of experience in social work including developing adventure based therapy programs. She recently left the social work realm for a development job and when she is not working she enjoys playing soccer, live music, and exploring our big lovely planet. Antoinette serves as the board’s secretary.

Kelly S. Bloom, Ph.D joined the Project GO board after only one season on the river with Project GO youth trips. She truly believes in the life-changing potential of adventure and wants to help our participants make the most of their experiences with Project GO. Her background includes both practical and academic perspectives in adventure and experiential education, and she holds several degrees in outdoor recreation, including a Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism from the University of Utah.

Nicole DeByl brings a background in public relations and corporate marketing to Project GO, and is dedicated to the goal of increasing overall awareness of the organization. She is hoping to help bring new communication initiatives to help get the word out about  Project GO’s activities and how they positively impact our communities. She plays soccer, loves the outdoors, and is happy to be a part of such a vibrant organization.
