Board of Directors
Kurt Hoge is owner of Reno Typographers, a small commercial printing company in Reno, Nevada. He serves as the board’s president. He has been a raft guide for 13 years, has worked as ski instructor and as a ropes course facilitator. In 2009 and 2010 he was the convenor for the Association for Experiential Education’s West Regional Conference. When he is not at work or in a boat, you can find him exploring the sierras with Oberon, a pink-nosed dog who is very secure in his masculinity, thank you very much.
Antoinette McLean is excited serve on the board and hopes to bring the “youth’s perspective and feedback” to Project Go’s curriculum as well as increase volunteer participation and fund raising efforts in the bay area. Antoinette has over eight years of experience in social work including developing adventure based therapy programs. She recently left the social work realm for a development job and when she is not working she enjoys playing soccer, live music, and exploring our big lovely planet. Antoinette serves as the board’s secretary.
Rachel Radell is the Member Services Manager for the Northern California Power Agency (NCPA). She is responsible for strategic planning, project management, regulatory compliance and customer communication. Rachel also has over twelve years of experience with non-profits including programs for underserved and at-risk youth. As a former fellow in the office of Senator Dianne Feinstein and a certified federal grants manager, Rachel hopes to use her experience to assist the fundraising efforts of Project GO. She became involved with Project GO when she took our basic whitewater Guide Training in 2009. When she is not working or rafting, Rachel enjoys traveling, long walks on the beach, and underwater basket weaving. Rachel has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley and is currently in the process of completing her MBA.
Kelly S. Bloom, Ph.D joined the Project GO board after only one season on the river with Project GO youth trips. She truly believes in the life-changing potential of adventure and wants to help our participants make the most of their experiences with Project GO. Her background includes both practical and academic perspectives in adventure and experiential education, and she holds several degrees in outdoor recreation, including a Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism from the University of Utah.

Brad Lancaster is a commercial real estate agent in Reno, Nevada. He worked as a commercial river guide for 12 years prior to beginning his grown-up career. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of white-water boating to Project Great Outdoors.
