We are a volunteer based organization providing expertly guided and facilitated outdoor adventures for young people in Northern California and Western Nevada. Our mission is to guide youth towards broader perspectives and self-discovery through adventures in the great outdoors. What’s New
WEB SITE CHANGES | We’ve made some changes to how our volunteers can interact with this site. Volunteers may now sign up and pay for trainings and events, and sign up as volunteers for program trips. An up-to-date list of trainings and trips will always be available on on our volunteer page. Just click the event, and you’ll get the skinny on how to sign up. For events that have a cost, you can use paypal or a credit card, but we also have a “pay offline” option, so tha you may mail a check, or bring your payment to the event.
You can also sign up for the events by simply clicking on the links from our event calendar on the left.
RENO TAHOE ODYSSEY | Please support the 12 brave individuals running 178 miles in 24 hours to raise money for Project GO. Click the banner to see a list of runners and make donations to their individual goals.
BASIC GUIDE TRAINING | We are accepting applications from individuals who would like to help serve Project GO’s mission from the guide seat of an inflatable raft. This year’s training happens June 23-24, and June 30 – July 8. Learn more and apply here!
