Basic Guide Training

We are looking for up to 20 individuals with the passion for, interest in, and possible existing aptitude for working with underserved young people in the outdoors. The nine day course is offered at the shared cost of $450, and there are ample scholarship opportunities that will make the training free or very inexpensive for the right people.

We seek like minded individuals who either already work – or wish to work – with young people, in the outdoors, or in the field of adventure education. If you are just looking for cheap training so you can apply for a job as a commercial guide, this training is NOT for you. Participants need to be in reasonably good physical condition, but there is no upper age limit.
