11 days of memory making, fun, learning about youth, and BOATING! Project Great Outdoors runs our guide training at shared cost. Included are all meals, camping, state and county fees, insurance fees, and printing costs. More information, applications, and descriptions will be up soon. One of our volunteers summed up his experience:

BGT was fun, challenging and rewarding. Eleven days of team building, learning personal abilities, building relationships with fellow trainees, trainers, and other wonderful Project GO volunteers, relationships that continue off the river, was a great opportunity. There was a good balance of down to business, levity and encouragement. I believe guide training afforded me the base skills to build upon to become an accomplished whitewater guide and outdoor educator.
